I hope you are succeeding in ‘pivoting your life’ professionally & privately in order to survive and thrive during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Many people are starting a side hustle next to their position as their personal ‘plan-b’. One of the best ways to that is by becoming an (online) solopreneur as I did in 2001 when I was still working at the global ABN Amro Bank (see here).
But what is that actually, a ‘solopreneur” ? My definition:
‘An individual who founds and runs their business independently, without the support of a co-founder or employees with whom he or she has a formal, contractual relationship‘.

The last part of the definition is important. Because as a solopreneur and especially as solopreneur making money online working from home for instance, you actually do not do everything on you own at all!
You work with a lot of people locally and globally, with your own unique business ecosystem. You just do not have a fixed contractual relationship with them like in old traditional organisations.
Solopreneurship is an important option as a careerswith for you if you are afraid of losing your job or if you want to start a side hustle ‘just in case’. It helped me a lot in my personal development and making the transition from ‘banker’ to solopreneur in 2001 and full time in 2011.
